Welcome to the official web site of the SIPPET Study.
This project born few years ago from the idea of professor Pier Mannuccio Mannucci, since long time dedicated to the scientific research in this field, supported by the Angelo Bianchi Bonomi Foundation in Milan, Italy.
The project involves 77 sites and 19 countries in 5 continents covering all race and ethnicities and has the ambitious purpose to definitely answer – for the first time through the scientific and objective approach of a randomized clinical trial – to the contradictory findings arisen in years of observation in the clinical practice.
For the role that the results coming from this trial will play, the project is warmly encouraged and sustained by the Scientific community and sectorial associations.

The SIPPET study is managed by Sintesi Research Srl, Milan.

 As tradition of the SIPPET project, a new appointment is scheduled at the World Federation of Hemophilia which this year will take place in Paris, France.
As usual SIPPET Team is organizing an open Investigators' Meeting where all of you, who are attending the Congress, are warmly invited to participate.
Open investigators' meeting will take place in Paris next July 8th immediately after the RESIST meeting.
